This is Crescent Moonborn. Once a Lady-in-waiting to the eldest Princess
of the Rose Court, Princess Sunshine. Crescent expected she would dutifully serve her Princess and one day
have a husband chosen for her who hopefully have good standing in court
and would care for her. The Rose Court knew of the Moonborn,
Seers from across the Sea in the realm of the Crystal court. The
Rose Court had no such mystics and were for the most part, practical, sturdy, earthbound people. Crescent wondered about them from time to time, but never guessed they would be part of her destiny or that she would be part of theirs

2:
"The Princess Sabra Led To the Dragon" - Edward

All the Moonborn were summoned
before the Crystal Court by Queen Harmony who had learned that being a
Moonborn Vessel not only the power to see past and future possibilities, but
to see far distances, where ever the moon passed. Harmony wanted to join
their ranks in order to spy across the sea as she feared the Rose Court
might one day cross the sea and wage war against the Crystal Court.
The Moonborn could not make this bargain. Echo
Moonborn tried to explain that the moon already had enough Vessels, and
that this desire of Queen Harmony's was destructive and would lead to
the Rose Court into war with the Crystal Court.

3:
"Twixt Hope and Fear" - Edward Robert Hughes

Queen Harmony not used to being
refused, decided that the Moonborn were threatening the Rose Court and called for
Echo's execution. The moon enraged that one would attempt to harm
her vessel turned Echo's body into Moonlight.

4:
"The Babylonian Marriage Market" - Edwin Long

When it became apparent that Queen Harmony
could not kill them and she could not force them to submit, Queen
Harmony decided to sell them Off Sphere, thinking if the Vessels
weren't going to help her against the Rose court then at least selling
them would give her funds for her army. Now there are 28 Sacred Vessels one for each night of the moon's cycle. Everyday the moon possess one of her Moonborn
to walk the world, sense feel and explore.
In return for borrowing the body of her Vessel the moon showers each
Vessel with her love and mystic gifts such as the powers that Queen
Harmony was attempting to possess. Being touched by the moon is not
unpleasant and each Vessel eagerly awaits her "Day" Although it
nearly killed her, Echo gave up all her future days, closing herself to the Moon's
possession that the Moon might be able to find a vessel in the Rose
Court. Crescent became that new Vessel.

As the Moon, Crescent, was able to
Convince Princess Sunshine that Queen Harmony was preparing for war against the
Rose Court, and just as Harmony feared The Rose Court did rise up
against her and have taken over the entire realm. Crescent is now walking
the Spheres seeking the other Moonborn, most especially Echo, to bring
them home.
